Diane is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHC-I), having served her community with extensive years of experience in the area of addiction and mental health, related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief/loss and trauma (PTSD). Diane's work in these areas extends to individuals, couples, adolescent to adult men and women.
Her therapeutic approach is derived from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strengths Based practices; with client's story goals as the foundation for which session and treatment are guided. Diane holds a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, where she graduated with distinction.
Diane's passion in serving the needs of others, while guiding, mentoring, and leading people to embrace their true authentic self is filled with hope, compassion and joy. These attributes are Diane's professional identity since she began her career more than a decade ago. In her spare time of self-care, Diane enjoys art, photography, and listening to the sounds of jazz and/or classical music with a good book. Diane loves to travel and she can often be found at the Beach or sitting smack bad in the middle of a movie theatre enjoying a tub of popcorn and ice freeze drink. Meet Diane.
